We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Salesperson with excellent oral communication and money math skills and a flair for fashion. Good understanding of customer service and tasks relating to inventory, promotions and displays is needed. Must be a team player with strong decision-making skills.

Essential Skills

 

Oral Communication

  • Greet customers and make general conversation to make them feel comfortable in the store.
  • Interact with customers to explain the features of products and respond to customer inquiries promptly and efficiently.

 

Money Math

  • Handle cash, credit and debit card transactions and provide change.
  • Calculate discounts, taxes and currency exchange.

 

Decision Making

  • Decide whether to accept returns or make exchanges (refer to policy manual for guidelines)

 

Work Habits

 

Customer Service

Deliver excellent customer service by:

·         Listening effectively to determine and meet customers’ needs;

·         Creating a positive impression of the company by being friendly and enthusiastic; and

·         Keeping the store neat and clean

 

Teamwork

Be a great team player by:

  • Working willingly with others; and
  • Showing respect for the ideas and opinions of your co-workers.
